Why these three projects belong together

A world map, a personality questionnaire, and a travel record all touch on how we understand ourselves and the world. Atlas gives places and data a shape we can compare. Personality exploration offers questions for organizing experience. The travel map turns familiarity with places into a record we can revisit.

This portal brings those perspectives together. It also gives future projects a place to grow, without needing to redefine the studio around every new tool.

An independent, iterative approach

We begin with a small usable feature, then improve it through actual use and data checks. Map classifications need sources; explanations need to work across languages; export tools need to preserve the work people create. Explaining limitations is part of making a useful tool.

Here, a research project means ongoing exploration and implementation, not a claim that every result has undergone academic peer review. When references disagree, dates, regions, methods, and uncertainty should stay visible. A precise-looking interface does not make an uncertain conclusion precise.

Directions for continued improvement

• Readable data: add source context, classification explanations, and known limitations so maps are easier to interpret.
• Usable tools: improve mobile interactions, language consistency, and the process of saving and sharing work.
• New questions: let future projects grow from practical needs and interesting observations. These are directions to explore, not a dated product-release commitment.
